Why This Beats Polls Odds from FTX.com, Betfair, Smarkets, and PredictIt How People Bet
  1. The United States presidential election of 2024 was the 60th quadrennial Presidential Election. Republican Nikki Haley, former Governor of South Carolina and 2016 Vice Presidential nominee, defeated Democrat John Hickenlooper, Vice President from Colorado. Former Governor Haley was only the second woman elected president, and the first Indian-American; also notable, the Haley/Carson ticket was.
  2. Most importantly, the former Vice President has the entire establishment Democratic machine behind him. That’s a massive advantage, especially concerning fund-raising. Kamala Harris (+300) Kamala Harris is one of the favorites to win the nomination this far out. At +300 odds, she presents the worst betting value among the real contenders.
  3. Democratic Nomination Odds For The 2020 Primary And General Elections. 2020 Presidential Election Update (11/4): With just a few remaining swing states still counting their ballots, it appears that Democratic nominee Joe Biden will likely win the White House.

About these odds and FAQ By Maxim Lott and John Stossel Odds update every minute

Even though former Vice President Joe Biden is “all but certain” to be the 2020 Democratic nominee, it’s hard to remember any candidate giving Las Vegas sportsbooks this much “uncertainty.”

The party’s primary to determine President Donald Trump’s general election challenger has been virtually over and literal virtual-only since the national emergency was declared for the coronavirus two months ago.

Despite the unfortunate “pause button” on the White House race, Joe Biden’s 2020 odds have increasingly fallen out of favor at Vegas bookies and prediction markets around the globe.

In fact, the 2020 election odds for Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic nominee and presidential runner-up, have skyrocketed up the boards in recent weeks.

While Biden -600 ($600 wins $100) remains the clear betting favorite, it’s a far cry from the -1800 he was listed at just a month ago. Per Vegas oddsmakers, Clinton +700 ($100 wins $700) has the best chance of replacing Biden as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

President Trump’s reelection odds remain favored at -120 ($120 wins $100), based on the 2020 political futures. Biden is the underdog at +130 ($100 wins $130), but Clinton has seen her chances double to +2000 ($100 wins $2000) over recent weeks.

Although Vegas still believes Clinton could avenge the 2016 upset, and become the first woman US President, oddsmakers give it a “slim” chance compared to either side in the “Trump vs. Biden” matchup. Interestingly, her POTUS and VP futures are identical even after the update.

Whether the party bails on Joe Biden remains to be seen, but below you can find Hillary Clinton’s 2020 betting odds for the nomination, presidency, and vice presidency — just in case Democrats do attempt a swap via brokered convention, etc.
